Sunbury Lions Juniors proudly compete in the Riddell District Football Netball League (RDFNL), with games taking place every Sunday, April - August. The league allows mixed teams until the U15 level. At that point, female players will transition to existing Sunbury Lions youth girls teams competing in the EDFL (Essendon District Football League).
For U9 players, games are modified and played on a smaller ground. To encourage skill development, players rotate through different positions each quarter, ensuring they learn all aspects of the game.
